2024 resolutions and goals

February 3, 2024 (9mo ago)

usually every year I write down my new year goals and resolutions. for some reason this year, I kind of procrastinated writing them, mostly because I was in the process of moving to Seattle. now that I have a lot of reflecting time, here are some goals and resolutions I want to accomplish within the next 11 months:

  • be fitter & healthier: been a goal for the last 5 years. i've been pretty successful in becoming fitter/healthier, but this year I want to take it to the next level. i want to start incorporating cardio & abs into my workouts which i haven't been doing. i want this to be the year where maybe u can see a 4 pack or something LMAO

  • be richer.... make $120k gross outside of my day job

  • speak to my parents only in urdu. so my 2023 goal was to start learning urdu, which I have been doing for a year now. my urdu has greatly improved, but now i gotta practice and speak more with my parents so it exponentially improves

  • start praying 5 times a day

  • start hooping, maybe join a league or something? i got super into basketball this last two years, now i want to start playing. it'll be good cardio and just a fun way to make friends. my jumper needs work though

  • read 12 books, 1 per month maybe

  • work & launch new cool products. feel like i've only been developing. i'm done with the development, now i want to launch

  • get my pilots license. i've been saying this for so long now, would be so cool if I can do this in 2024

  • run half a marathon (13.1 mi). need to probs train for this though

  • fix my hyperhidrosis. all i need to do is use my iontophoresis machine consistently. probs my biggest insecurity

  • set aside 2 hours daily for personal work, minimum. now that I got a full-time job, I'm gonna have to find time to work on my outside projects. i want to spend at least 2 hours every day working towards developing and launching other things.

  • drink a gallon of water every day. 2023 I drank half a gallon, now I want to consistently drink a full gallon

  • dress nicely every work day. if u look good you feel good, yk? sad thing is that fashion isn't too big in Seattle, especially in the tech scene lol. it's okay though i dont mind be the odd one out lol

i think that's all I can think of now. if I get more ideas I'll update this soon
